for Europe.
Made in Germany.
Welcome to the 6G Germany booth. At MWC 2026, we are proud to present 6G technology made in Germany through our joint ecosystem, cutting-edge research demonstrators, and guided booth tours.
6G Germany is a national alliance dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and technology transfer in the field of 6G. By connecting Germany’s leading 6G research clusters, we ensure that ideas from science are consistently transformed into practical applications. With the Federal Government’s High-Tech Agenda prioritizing 6G technology made in Germany, we are creating a solid framework to translate groundbreaking research into applications, standards, and global markets.
What is 6G?
6G is the next generation of mobile communication technology that will follow 5G. It is expected to provide much higher data speeds, extremely low latency, and seamless connectivity between people, machines, and intelligent systems, enabling applications such as immersive virtual worlds, advanced AI services, and real-time digital twins.
Technological Sovereignty
Technological sovereignty is the ability of a country to ensure reliable access to key technologies that are critical for society and the economy, so that it can shape and use these technologies according to its own needs and values without being overly dependent on others.
